Curve GXR - Aka Kevin

Curve Cycling

Gravel Cross Racer. Grand Xploring Randonneur. Kevin.

Name it what you want, ride it how you want.

We have taken the fun from our CXR Cyclocross racing frame, fused the adventure feels of the steel Grovel, and rolled it into one, neat do-it-all package. The GXR also has a brand new fork with HEAPS of tyre clearance and bike-packing features.

Check out a blog on the design and prototyping of the GXR

All New Geometry

Open your mind to some new numbers with the GXR. It's long, so run a short stem to get the best handling out of this puppy.

For example you are normally a 54 running a 110mm stem, we advise a Medium GXR with an 80mm Stem.

Q - Where do I buy such a magnificent bike?
A - Most Curve Partners are holding stock of the GXR and can you on a GXR faster than we can, you can find them listed here.

Q - CURVE’s social channels. Why did this not make it to production?
A - They didn’t make the cut. We stand 100% behind our adventure bike cable layouts, and believe they should remain external.

Q - You rate the tyre size at a maximum 27.5 x 2.1 and 700 x 42 but in some photos, I have seen you run 2.25 or 45C tyres, why?
A - This is a guide only. Not all tyres are created equal or measure the same, there are also other variations that change tyre width such as rim width, tyre pressure etc. So we err on the side of caution in our rating. That said, if you are experiencing tyre rub or not enough mud clearance then common sense will tell you change to a smaller tyre that provides a better outcome for your prefered clearance.
