We opened up the doors of G!RO for the first time in October 2013 with a goal and vision to passionately serve, support and build the local community of cyclists and non-cyclists alike. Our cafe is in the heart of Esher, on the outskirts of the Surrey hills, and using Cycling as its vessel, we exist as a central hub for the wider, local community. 

G!RO is inclusive, not exclusive to riders and non-riders alike & and we have become a destination for the finest coffee, food & drink, as well as selling a selection of high-end & exclusive Cycle Brands.

Listed in the Daily Telegraph as the Top 3 Cycling Destinations in the UK, G!RO has also won numerous awards including Best Coffee Stop For Cyclists at the UK Coffee Awards, and Eshers best independent 2022 in the Love Elmbridge awards.

In short, G!RO exists to celebrate and champion the bike, local community,  and in turn the friendships, stories & adventures that come from it. So whether you park up on your bike, or walk in with no bike in sight, our doors are always open, and we will give you a nice, warm welcome.

Coffee is the centre of what we do here at G!RO, which is why we chose Workshop Coffee as our supplier.

World renowned for quality, and widely regarded as one of the finest Coffee Roasters out there, Workshop Coffee pursue excellence in all aspects of the roasting journey. From time invested working with the suppliers at source, right through to roasting and tasting the beans weekly. The rigorous nature of their process ensures consistently incredible single origin coffee, sourced from an array of Coffee Growing regions highlighting the best flavours each region has to offer; that in turn, we are proud to show off in the cafe here at G!RO.

It doesn't end there, our team are the beneficiaries of the Workshop Teams many years of experience and expertise, they train our barista's to deliver all the flavour their beans contain and support us in giving you guys, our community, immersive and educational experiences like Coffee Cupping evenings.
